National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards
We assess organisations against the National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) standards. These standards are continually being improved to ensure they reflect the latest priorities in various aspects of healthcare.
Currently, ACHS assesses organisations against the NSQHS Standards 2nd Edition. This latest edition includes 8 standards and 148 actions, and addresses gaps identified in the 1st edition, including in the areas of mental health, cognitive impairment, health literacy, end of-life care, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health.
