Providing safe, high quality care which is centred on the needs of the client is the hall mark of excellence in service delivery in the Aged Care Sector. Central to achieving this is a robust governance system which translates from the board to the front line carers. This focus on Governance is being given high priority as a consequence of the findings of the Aged Care Royal Commission,  and is clearly articulated in the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission’s Governance Framework and the Aged Care Quality Standard 8.

This Aged Care Governance program is run over three weeks with each virtual interactive training session running for two hours. Led by industry experts, the program is designed to provide you with an immersion in best practice Governance including:
  • Statutory responsibilities of Boards and Execs.
  • Best practice governance and leadership to drive a culture of high quality care.
  • Contemporary approaches to improving performance using improvement science and adoption of innovative practice for the aged care sector.
